Inclement Weather Policy

If inclement weather occurs during the week:

and either Urbandale or Des Moines Public Schools are CLOSED as a result:

• the church office will be closed and all church programming will be canceled.

and either Urbandale or Des Moines Public Schools are DISMISSED EARLY as a result:

• all events at the church will also be canceled.

If inclement weather occurs on Sunday mornings:

If possible, we will still have worship at 10:00am. In order to prepare the campus for people to safely arrive, please do not come to church until 9:30. Sunday School will be canceled for the morning. The recorded message on the church phone system will be changed (press 3 for cancellations). Local television stations will be notified to publicize the announcement and the information will also be posted on the church’s Facebook page. The decision will be made by 7:30am and notification of worship leaders and Sunday School teachers will begin.
